Miss Czech Republic organization (which was the older one of national beauty pageants in Czech Republic) hold the license for Miss World and International, but in 2010 Czech Miss took over Miss Czech Republic and in 2010 Czech Miss sent girls to compete in MU, MW, ME, MI, MS, then in 2011 they dropped the license for MI and in 2012 they dropped the license for MS, so nowadays they send girls only to MU, MW and ME...

Good, you should be happy. For example I never was a fan of Anna Jamróz, but I was happy that she was in the top 16 of MW '09. Smile

Congratulations. I think is´t deserved. What a pitty she didn´t place better. I remember she was on of the girls that surprised me during the final of Czech Miss.

I think, there are a bit different criteria for Czech Miss and for any of MW, MU, ME, MS. For the winners of Czech Miss the girls with natural type of beauty are preferred. At the same time, they mustn't look too adult. For the world pageants, natural beauty is not such a big advantage. Such girls hide in crowd. Look at the winners of world's pageants - they all look like mature queens, not young girls. I don't think that for example Ivian Sacros could win Czech Miss...
