Miss International 2012 @ Ikumi Yoshimatsu of Japan

Ikumi Yoshimatsu of Japan was crowned the 52nd Miss International winner during an event held in Okinawa, Japan on October 21st. She is now her country's first Miss International titleholder. She also won the Miss Photogenic special award.

Very nice top5. Im so thrilled that Sri Lanka made it this far. She had always been a favorite of mine. Kudos to Namibia for making it to the semifinals, hence being the 1st placement of an African nation in the semis since 2002. Congrats Japan. You finally have a winner in Miss International. After having hosted (and owned) the pageant for so many years, finally a Japanese delegate was able to capture the crown. In all fairness, I think the winner is pretty...stunning, no, but pretty.

When I see reasults like this I start to think that Miss Serbia results this year were not so bad

I've seen pics of all winners and I think that we have the first really "ugly" winner of MI Even Iris Klein of Germany '89 was better!
