What can I say? Boring? Politics? I don't know, but the MI Org released a note days ago that "physical beauty is not the most important".And I agree: the result is not based on physical beauty; not a kind of beauty who we wait of a grand slam pageant.
Good luck to Ikumi, but the fans are - with reasons - very upset.

Since it's a beauty pageant , the looks should matter and I don't get that it's Japan's turn etc! The best girl should win no matter where she comes from!

Good social skills, bright, intelligent and then to that panel of judges she was beautiful, apparently

Btw, I do get the frustration that you all have.
I don't understand her beauty either. But I'm just so happy about Viivi that I don't care!!! lol!

I think they followed MW, she got a good speech so they seize the opportunity, but they forgot that MW girl is pretty in contrast to Ikumi. Rolling Eyes
