Peter Elias and Associates (Pageant Successes)

Peter Elias and Associates (PE&A) became a reality in 2003 when the Miss World franchise was acquired by Peter Elias, Adrian Raymond and Alyson Browne. In 2004, PE&A acquired the franchises for the local legs of Miss Universe and Miss Earth. Due to severe financial woes they were forced in 2004 to relinquish the Miss Earth franchise. The following is a listing of their pageant accomplishments thus far.

YEAR: 2003
-Pageant franchise acquired in late 2003-closed door screenings used to select MT&T representative to Miss World 2003 due to short space of time available.

- T&T (Réné Sloan-Seale) wins Miss Caribe Hibiscus 2003


- T&T (Magdalene Walcott) places 15th at Miss World 2003

YEAR: 2004
-Transition period for MT&T Universe franchise-CCN, the most financially profitable media outfit in the nation, relinquishes their franchise rights after crowing Danielle Jones as the 2004 Miss Universe representative due to the fact that they were losing money. The Miss Universe organization invites Peter Elias and Associates to apply for the franchise and the rest as they say is history. Peter Elias becomes Danielle Jones' fashion stylist and advisor for the MU2004 pageant.

-T&T places 3rd in the National Costume competition wearing "The Humming bird"-a bird around which the local legend of the pitch lake is built.


-T&T (Danielle Jones) is 4th runner-up at Miss Universe 2004 pageant


Miss World 2004: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Kenisha Thom
-T&T places 3rd in the beach beauty fast-track event


-T&T places joint 3rd in the sports fast-track event


-T&T places in the top 10 of the Top Model fast-track event

-T&T places in the top 20 of the Talent fast-track

-T&T places 7th at the Miss World 2004 pageant finals


Miss Earth 2004: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Leah-Marie Guerva
-T&T places 10th at the Miss Earth 2004 finals

YEAR: 2005

Miss Universe 2005: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Magdalene Walcott
-Miss Universe 2005 semi-finalist (placed 14th overall)


Miss World 2005: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Jenna-Marie Andre
-top 15 in Miss World beach beauty
-internet votes used to select semifinalists for MW 2005. Not surprising, T&T fails to make the semis.

Year: 2006

Miss Universe 2006: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Kenisha Thom
-T&T places in the top 10 of Miss Universe 2006


Miss Carival 2006: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Kesha Quash
-Keisha Quash becomes the fist delegate of indian descent to represent T&T at Miss Carival
-Keisha Quash becomes the first delegate of east indian descent to place in the top 5 of Miss Carival
-T&T places 2nd at the Miss Carival pageant

Year: 2007

Miss Universe 2007: NO T&T REPRESENTATIVE DUE TO THE LACK OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Miss World 2007: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Valene Maharaj
-T&T places in the top 20 of the beach beauty fast-track competition
-T&T places in the top seven of the top model fast-track competition
-Valene places 4th at the Miss World final and wins T&T's second Miss Queen of the Caribbean regional title.

-T&T wins Miss Photogenic
-T&T wins Miss Caricom International 2007

Year: 2008

Miss Universe 2008: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Anya Ayoung Chee
-T&T fails to place in the top 15 but still is top 20 in the prelims (Anya placed 17th overall)

Miss World 2008: Miss Trinidad and Tobago Gabrielle Walcott
-T&T places in the top 25 of the Beach Beauty fast track
-T&T places in the top 32 of the Top Model fast track
-T&T wins the "Beauty with a purpose" fast-track
-T&T wins the Queen of the Caribbean title
-T&T is Miss World 2008 2nd-runner up.

-T&T wins best evening gown title
-T&T places 4th at Miss Carival 2008
