Her Biography for Miss World 2005:
"Jenna-Marie was born and grew up in the city of San Fernando, which is in the south of the island of Trinidad. Her hometown is referred to as the industrial capital of Trinidad & Tobago, since most of the natural resources, refineries and production plants are located in and around her city. However it still has the charm of a small town with a strong sense of community. Jenna-Marie has a Diploma in broadcasting and an associate degree in Management & Communications, she has also taken courses in application, skin care, dance and drama, it is her ambition is to become an entertainment journalist.

Currently she is working as an administrator and model. Hobbies and interests are: Reading; outdoors activities, solicialising; swimming; running, cricket; volleyball, performing the calypso dance and playing the steel pan. Her favourite food is: Dumplings, salt fish with steamed plantain, and her personal motto is “Life is not a dress rehearsal.”

Jenna was a top 15 beach beauty semifinalist at Miss World 2005 and was 3rd in the instruments category of the Talent fast-track. Jenna failed to advance to the semis of the Miss World 2005 as she failed to garner enough internet votes.

Ms. T&T World 2005 (Sanya, China), Jenna-Marie Andre is not a new face to T&T, many know her for her graceful demeanor, exotic Trini looks and fashion savvy modelling skills. But not many of us know the real Jenna. Her favourite food for example which is true Creole style dumplings, salt fish and steamed plantain! Or that she is has a diploma in broadcasting and an associate degree in Management and Communications and she manages a Contracting and Civil Engineering firm. Her fans see her on the catwalk, they can’t imagine her on a cricket pitch, but guess what? Cricket is one of her pet sports.


1. What quality do you like most in women?

Confidence especially when she knows she doesn’t need a man to validate her existence.


2. Your happiest moment?

Whenever I’m with friends either having a good laugh or just enjoying each other’s company and not saying a word.


3. Your secret fear?

I fear the Most High God. He is the one with the power to take you from this earth.


4. Which living person do you admire most?

My mother her faith in God amazes me.


5. What quality do you value most in your friends both male or female?

Loyalty don’t have many so that is really important to me.


6. What is your greatest extravagance?

Shoes and clothes can’t help myself!


7. The place you would like to visit before you die?

Jerusalem.


8. What is your favorite journey?

The flight home after being away from home for a long period.


9. What advice will you give people wishing to enter your field?

’Field’ is too basic. I’ve done so much in the little time I’ve been on this earth and I intend to get into a lot more My advice would be follow your dreams, never let anyone tell you ’you can’t do it’. You only have one life to live Live in the moment and Do It All.


10. What is your current state of mind?

Budget, Budget,Budget.


11. What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Hypocrisy if you don’t like me, I’ll live, but don’t pretend and talk to me.


12. What is your greatest joy?

My puppy, Mamas she loves me no matter what and at the end of the work day it’s great to go home to her.


13. What is your biggest turn on in a man?

Self-assurance and good hygiene.


14. What is your guilty pleasure?

Coca-cola, love.. love... love it


15. What is your lowest depth of misery?

Whenever I remember my brother who died it’s over 10 years now and it still hurts knowing he’s not around.


16. What is your pet peeve?

Rude people, especially children and Customer Service Representatives


17. What do you get complimented most about?

Usually a body-part, my legs, hair, lips, etc.etc ..etc etc, but that sounds vain so a close second is my down-to-earth, crazy personality.


18. When was the last time you cried?

I think it was early June was hurt by something someone really close to me did.


19. What was the first thing you did this morning?

Took off my alarm and put it to snooze like three times!


20. What do you consider your most cherished virtue?

Humility.


21. If you had one personal wish (which you alone can benefit from hence world peace etc not applicable)?

To wake up one morning and realise I have uncles that are named: Uncle Louis,Uncle Georgio and Uncle Gucci.
