I read somewhere that the national director of the Philippines, Cory Quirino, only took over the franchise in 2011.
In just three years, she had a winner, a runner-up, and a top 15 finalist. -hy6-

I have strong feeling about this.. And finally my country completed the crowns and titles from the 4 Grand Slam pageants plus Supranational and TQI so it should be 6. Thanks everyone ... Megan has been rejected in Bb Pilipinas so I believe she was destined to be our 1st ever Miss World.

Nice top 3... I love this MW edition. Megan is beautiful and was my 1st. France was my 2nd (Brazil was my winner. She is stunning and made a big pageant. ).

She's gorgeous and she deserves it.Anyone in the top6 would have been a good choice in my opinion.They were all stunning.Im glad MW waited for a gorgeous filipina to give the crown to the Philippines as opposed to the previous Miss Philippines that placed high but were not top notch delegates (2011-2012 for example).
