Miss USA is going to be Mrs. USA!
Nia Sanchez is engaged to actor Daniel Booko. The proposal took place on a private terrace in New York City Saturday. "We're engaged!! Ahhhh!" the 21 & Over actor revealed on Instagram. "Can't wait to spend forever with my love and best friend @realniasanchez @missusa!! #bestnightever #TheBookos."
Booko also provided the first glimpse of Sanchez's platinum, two-carat diamond ring! He had a red, white and blue stone added inside the band to commemorate Sanchez's Miss USA title. He co-designed the ring at INTA Gems and Diamonds—the same company that makes the crowns for Miss California.
Sharing the same photo on Instagram, Sanchez wrote, "We are engaged!!!! so in love with my fiancé @danielbooko."
For his proposal, Booko rented out the Suite Royale at the NoMad Hotel. The actor decorated the 700-square-foot terrace with flowers and candles before surprising Sanchez. "She's thinking she's going to an event with friends...[and] I will be there looking all dapper in a suit decorated with candles and flowers and the whole thing and have her come over—just her and I to have an intimate moment—then get down on one knee and propose, then pop champagne and celebrate," he told Rumor Fix pre-proposal.
Alicia Blanco, Miss USA 2009's second runner-up, shared a photo of Booko on bended knee. "YES IT'S TRUE! @danielbooko put a ring on @realniasanchez ! @missusa is ENGAGED he did gooooood!" the couple's pal wrote on Instagram. "More pics to follow. All I can say is that it was PERFECT! Such a fairytale to witness it."

Sanchez, 24, and Booko, 30, met a year and a half ago at an engagement party. They didn't date until three months later, after Booko saw Sanchez at church. This will be the first marriage for both stars.
The bride-to-be will next represent the USA at the Miss Universe pageant on Jan. 25, 2015.
