"Sarah Jane Waddell is 24 years old and lives in Carenage.
Sarah Jane is an Accounts Executive/Copy Writer and enjoys classic
literature, art and languages.
BIO
Looking back, I know that I am lucky to have had such a wealth of experiences in just 24 years. Having spent part of my childhood in both Barbados and Costa Rica, I was exposed to different cultures and perspectives from a very young age. In Costa Rica, I became fluent in the Spanish language, and not only nurtured a love of horses, but also turned this love into what would be a lengthy and successful equestrian career. Returning home at the age of 12, I continued in the sport and represented Trinidad & Tobago both locally and internationally.
As a teenager, I attended the International School of Port-of-Spain and developed a keen interest in world affairs and diplomacy. This prompted me to become involved in the Model United Nations, where I participated as a delegate in several conferences around the world, and served as Secretary General at a Regional Conference. I also served my school as President of the Student Body and a member of the National Honours Society, and was very involved in theatre as well.
My interest in world affairs influenced my decision to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mandarin Chinese on a merit scholarship at Villanova University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I joined a sorority, Kappa Delta, learned the true value of sisterhood J, and made many lifelong friends. Through University, I was able to undertake internship programs in both Beijing and Washington D.C., all while making every effort to return home as often as I could.
Since returning home in 2011, I have worked in both Advertising and Government (Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs), as well as partaken in other beauty pageants in T&T.
I currently work at Ross Advertising as an Accounts Executive and Copy Writer. My job is fast paced, dynamic, and rewarding for someone like myself who has "an insatiable curiosity for life" as my mother likes to say.
In my free time, I absolutely love to read literature-always a favorite for leisure time. I love drawing as well-specifically, henna-inspired art. I have a passion for fashion, beauty, and styling, and social media. And I LOVE Carnival! The past two years I played as a Section Leader for Fantasy and developed a close relationship with the band since its inception.
Ultimately, this eclectic calalloo of experiences have converged to bring me to this point. Pursuing Miss Trinidad and Tobago World seems like a natural progression having represented my country in different arenas throughout most of my life, and I can think of no nobler way that plays to my strengths to become an ambassador for my county and become a part of something greater than myself."

Shanea Tameela Acosta was born in beautiful Trinidad and Tobago in 1993 and spent her life in the serene area of Barataria. She is the daughter of a Retail Business Owner and a home-maker.
I am an aspiring fashion model as modeling was a childhood passion of mine. I started modeling in 2011 and since then being part of the fashion and modeling society of Trinidad and Tobago I realized that it has become a greater part of my life.
I am the third of only 12 siblings - four sisters and seven brothers. Always having to help my parents look after the younger ones with love, care and affection not to mention the countless laughs we shared as a family only further nurtured my love and affection for children.
My long term goal is to have my very own Daycare and Childcare Center. This will be a 'safe haven' for all displaced, homeless children could find peace, love, joys and laughter couple with proper guidance, counseling and education so this could set the foundation for them to be better person and an asset to our society. Due to my passion and love for children, I realized that children deserve nothing but the best that life has to offer and with proper focus, determination and great role models they too can achieve success and live their dream just as I will do mine.
My father has definitely been a great influence on my life as even though he was successful in his business he still made that time to spend with his family and he has shared his generous heart of love equally amongst us all!! A big family with a big heart!!
In my secondary years I attended the Mucurapo Islamic College and thereafter at the Aranguez Private Secondary where I did my Advanced Level.

I am 21 year old Dena-Marie Blanc and I live in the Woodbrook area with my mother and two older brothers. I graduated from St. Francois Girls College in 2011, after which I had the opportunity of teaching at the Early Learning Centre as a Montessori Assistant, I am presently employed as an administrative assistant for a Gynecologist. My family has been one of the greatest aspects of my life that has shaped the young woman I have become today. My secondary education at St. Francois Girls College has also been a major influence in my outlook on life and helped me set goals for my future.
My mother and grandmother got me into the creative life at a very young age. They entered me into Easter Bonnet Parades, Carnival competitions and Little Miss Trinidad and Tobago since the age of 3 years. My grandmother {very talented} designed and made all my dresses and carnival wear with such loving care and my mother was the mastermind behind those creative ideas. Thanks to them I've learnt that competitions aren't always about coming first, it's about grooming yourself into a beautiful person inside and out no matter the outcome of the results. I also learnt that ?winning? is not the only thing there is in competitions. Knowing that you did you best in your own eyes says that you achieved so much more along the way to the end.
Having learnt all of this, I know that I was ready for the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Beauty Pageant. I consider being part of this pageant another step in the right direction to my ultimate goal of traveling the world and bringing hope and love to children in need.
My passions in life are firstly my family, working in an environment that involves children and always striving to utilize my creative talents in a positive way. I aspire to be a cosmetologist one day because I enjoy doing manicures, pedicures, facials, make-up and much more. The words I would choose to describe myself are outgoing, warm hearted and compassionate. Modeling, is one of my part time pleasures, being outdoors and latin dancing are some of my favorite hobbies, meeting people and learning about their unique cultures, is one of my main interest and one of my personal goals , is to travel the world, visiting countries where I can help the less fortunate and hopefully bring a smile to many children's faces."

BIO
I am Jessica Didier, born on 26th August 1990 and I hail from the beautiful community of Cumuto . I believe I am a very focused and determined individual. My family has always instilled in me the importance of respect, honesty and a drive to always strive to be a strong and independent young woman. I spent ten (10) years of my life as a Cadet, the final three (3) years as an officer; from my training I fostered keen leadership skills as well as being able to gain a level of maturity beyond my years. I understood the importance of education at a very young age and pushed myself to insure that I excelled at school. I have completed my Associate Degree in Labour Studies and presently pursuing my final year in Human Resource Management.
As much as I have spent a lot of my time shaping me as an individual, I am just as much of the proverbial 'fun girl next door'. I enjoy just about every outdoor activity there is, maybe that's because I grew up like such a tomboy. I love reading, browsing the internet as I am an information junkie, because of my love for swimming I can just lose myself at the beach or at a pool and I also don't mind partying in moderation. Not many people know this but I simply love to dance, I have done classes and I can rumba, salsa, swing, cha cha and waltz with the best of them!
And now I am here...
At a Miss T&T World Pageant...
Why this year AGAIN...?
The question is not so much why, but rather why not?
I think that it's an amazing opportunity for the young lady who wins and I will be 25 next year and I know that I will be focusing on other things reference my life path. Winning the local leg of the Miss T&T World Pageant and getting the opportunity to travel to London and experience the Miss World Pageant is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a young woman. The thing is, once you make it to London, who knows what your faith may be after that. I am a beautiful and intelligent young lady, free spirited with a good heart and I have just as good a chance of becoming the next Miss World as the girls next to me. Who knows what tomorrow holds as the future is not yet revealed to us. What I do know is that if I didn't try it would always be on my mind?so here I am Trinidad & Tobago.
I am Jessica Didier and I live and love life and wish all of my fellow friends and delegates all the best on our final night."
As much as I have spent a lot of my time shaping me as an individual, I am just as much of the proverbial 'fun girl next door'. Why this year AGAIN...?
