Sweden: Heroes videoart to be changed before Eurovision

SVT, the Swedish broadcaster, reports today that due to a copyright claim and similarities to a work by a dandypunk, Måns will have to say goodbye to the dwarf that accompanied him on the Melodifestivalen tour, all the way to the first place.
The presentation of heroes was copy of "The Alchemy of Light by a dandypunk"!
The preview video of Heroes, which presents the performance from the Melodifestivalen final was removed from the official media of eurovision.tv and the official lyrics video is now presented instead. The director Fredrik “Benke” Rydman is now working for the new presentation which will be quite similar with different graphics !

I'm not a fan of our song this year, but I am disgusted of the amount of negativity they have received from Eurovision fans.
Eurovision fans who always scream how people should be more tolerant and understanding of difference.

I mean since when has eurovision been about JUST the song???
Please, Austria would have never won last year if the song was sung by Måns Zelmerlöv.... Rolling Eyes

I was very curious what do you think about it. I have nothing against disabled people at ESC but not if they seem to be not 100% aware what are they doing and when it's not fair to other more deserving performers like Satin Circus. Next thing is that it's just playing with people's compassion. Both Finland and Poland got very bad songs IMO and they will rely only on human compassion, which I dislike all the way.

I wouldn't say the will rely ONLY on human compassion.
I mean there are people who actually think that punk is a good music genre

I'm not one of them, but there are people who love punk.
And Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät is an actual band. They didn't form just to enter Eurovision and gain sympathy votes.
They are a real punkband and this is what they play.

I wouldn't say the will rely ONLY on human compassion.

Yeah, if the song would be good, but it is a disaster and doesn't last even 2 minutes. Don't tell me that they won finnish final because of the song or punk music. If not their disability no one would even notice them and it will never be in UMK.

I think that everyone should be able to enter no matter what his/her disability or medical condition!
Everyone has to right to dream and make their dreams come true!

The other day I had a conversation with a family friend that follows ESC since the 60's and he pointed to me how the EBU lately has been manipulating the results or promoting certain countries! For him the most "dirty" result is the victory of Azerbaijan and I totally agreed with him! Twisted Evil

And then he showed me this video of the Ukranian entry in 2013, this is how they wanted to present it , but EBU forbidden them to use their graphics! In fact they did not allowed them to use anything at all, and pointed out that in 2015 Sweden is allowed to do so but just 2 years ago Ukraine wasn't!! I was shocked really, it's like the MU sash factor thing! Laughing

Anyway the video is like a Disney film, very girly and magical!
