I wanted Italy to be 1st, but apparently they were really afraid of winning. It was like someone has told them not to move and have fun on stage. In San Remo they have made such a different performance...

I read that Italy, Greece and Portugal might not return next year! I will not be surprised if Spain does the same!
Jan Ola Sand has plans for Qatar, China, Kazakstan etc, the poor European South is not part of his plan, we have to make room for the newcomers who have petrodolars!!

What a night....no 12 points for Cyprus from Greece! Laughing

I knew that Il Volo would be our 12 points... the song is everywhere! It's a Eurovision classic now we will propably look back in a few years from now and we will still bein shock that this was not no 1!

I guess you are right and I completely got your point. In that case I should say Italy or Belgium should have won. However, I don't need to agree with the rest of Europe. I enjoyed the show, I think we had the best final since a very long time!

No just because they need space for the new ones! Small countries like Bosnia, Greece, Cyrpus etc will have to go, or participate every 2-3 years cause we are not as financially usefull to EBU as Qatar or Azerbaijan etc!

I don't think you're right. Australia will NOT compete next year, China or Qatar too. They are doing what they can to bring back Bosnia to the competition so I think you just dramatize right now my dear Razz

I can understand that someone fears the ESC might expand in need of new sponsors. And I agree that countries like Spain and Italy should not be them, sponsors I mean. But then again, a contest like this one, which is growing each year, needs also financial sources. Now people in Germany are crying again and don't want to pay for the ESC anymore, and who can blame them? But I agree with Wojtek, we should not dramatize.

I enjoyes the show a lot too! I like the results! So happy for Belgium in the top 5, for Norway, Estonia or Latvia in the top 10 and that Poland is not 27th Laughing

23rd place is that what I expected.
