The road to Frøken Norge 2009

Frøken Norge 2009 will be crowned on March 27 at a venue to be confirmed.

Winner will represent Norway in Miss Universe 2009 and Miss World 2009.

So far, here are some favorites discussed in various Norwegian news sites:

Right now, there are 200+ beauties in the running for the crown. They will be narrowed down to 40 quarter-finalists until the 10 or so finalists will remain for the duels.

Actually it looks like Norway will go back to the old system of electing two misses - 1 for MW and 1 for MU.
But this is not 100% confirmed.
The only sure thing is that Lene Egeli (MNW 2008) will not participate in MU 2009.

They each won a web based voting for candidate of the month and beach babe 2008.

Norway has too many beautiful girls!
In my opinion Mariann on MU and Lisa-Mari on MI were great!
