Miss Universe Great Britain 2019 final begins! A sisterhood of fierce women all competing for their place on the international stage that is Miss Universe and supporting a multitude of women's causes along the way. Today we begin by introducing you to Allys Miller, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Fareham with a first-class honours degree in business and Charlotte Brooke, a 26-year-old model and business woman from London. Could it be a red-head taking the crown this year?

It's a big shout out to 23-year-old Jessica Page from Liverpool who is a graduate and sales manager for one of the UK's top 100 FTSE companies and 26-year-old Emma Jenkins from Llanelli who is a successful make-up artist and TV and radio presenter.

The MUGB 2019 finals take place from 11-13 July in Cardiff and Newport with a host of special events - including the Bring a Bra Ball on Friday 12 July and the grand final itself on Saturday 13 July.

Ola Alatishe and Sarah Jegede. Both women have competed for Miss Universe Great Britain in previous years and are returning for their second chance at the crown. Ola, 26 from London, is a well-travelled graduate who has lived in China and is learning Mandarin. She currently works in the charitable sector. Sarah, 27, is a teacher from Ashford in Kent. Her love for travel has taken her to many countries and she is currently living and working in Vietnam teaching young children English.

Erin and Sophie to the Miss Universe Great Britain line-up. Both women have interests that have gone from just being a hobby to now a way of life. Erin Williams, who is 21 and from Sheffield, is an accomplished horse-rider who runs her own successful business in riding appareil. Sophie Dunning, who is 26 and from Telford, has a passion for self-defense and as well as having a day job in business development, runs classes to enable women to be in the best position to defend themselves should the need arise.

Sacha Jones from Birmingham - who has worked as an award-winning make-up artist and been featured in the likes of British Vogue - will begin a veterinary nursing course in September to realise a childhood dream of working with animals.

Alexandra Prior, who is 27 and from Bothwell in Scotland, is currently on an accelerator course which will see her graduate as a doctor in veterinary medicine. She is also a Master Diver and hopes to expand her knowledge in the field of science and research to work towards a plastic free ocean.

Two finalists focused on their prep ahead of the MUGB 2019 finals this year are Amie Barlow and Gemma Gordon.

Amie, 24, spends her time between London and Wales where she runs her own personal training business, alongside performing and social media influencing. She has a fitness related social media account dedicated to supporting women on their fitness journeys.

Gemma is a 24-year-old actress based in London who has graduated from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts & ALRA. She is a passionate supporter of charities helping homeless women on the streets of London which she is advocating for as part of her Miss Universe Great Britain journey.

Twenty-six-year-old Umida Ibrahimova is a sales advisor for one of the largest construction companies in the UK where only 30% of the workforce is made up of women. Umida loves to travel and her aim is to visit every continent at least once in her lifetime.

Twenty-two-year-old Saffron Corcoran lives and works in Northamptonshire and is a professional in the automotive industry. Saffron is a an advocate for raising awareness of mental health issues.

This year the Miss Universe Great Britain finalists are fundraising for A-Sisterhood - a not-for-profit organisation which supports female causes worldwide. The competition winner will become an official ambassador for the cause.

Since qualifying as a barrister, she works as a courtroom advocate, delivering cases in county courts across the south west of the UK. She is also an adventure seeker and has motorbiked solo throughout Vietnam and hiked to Base Camp Mount Everest for charity.

Nicole Henao Marin Smith, 26, is a trainee solicitor living in Leeds, with a multicultural heritage from Colombia, Turkey and Germany, She is currently six years into a legal career and will be holding talks this year for university students to shed light on the challenge of entering the corporate world for young females.

Victorial JP Small is a 25-year-old human resources assistant from Reading. She has a degree in business management and has launched an initiative called ‘Victim2Victorious’ to raise awareness of sexual grooming by predators in the hope of educating youngsters and their parents.

Eighteen-year-old Udo Emeka-Okafor from Epsom stands at a towering 6ft 1" and is a model, actor and student studying commercial photography. She is also a passionate you-tuber and is particularly keen to promote women, young people and ethnic minorities in the arts.

Charlotte White, who is 6ft tall, is a professional in the pharmaceutical industry. Last year she started her own campaign called The Monthly Visit, collecting donated sanitary products, new underwear, hygienic wipes and delivering them to homeless shelters in her area.

Twenty-four-year-old Farhia Ali is a business account manager. She moved to the UK as a child and often travels back to Kenya to see her family. There she volunteers with women in the community and advocates for the end of FGM and forced marriage. She will be the first contestant in Miss Universe Great Britain to wear a headscarf.

Twenty-year-old Tasharn Sanganoo is a student at Goldsmiths University where she has enjoyed the role of studend ambassador. She has practiced martial arts since the age of five and started teaching the sport when she was 16. Tasharn also volunteers in a local homeless centre with her mum and is a DJ in her spare time.

Megan Vincetta Robinson, aged 27 from Liverpoool, is an ambassador for The Girls Network, mentoring young women and preparing them for their first step in to the business world. She also runs her own program "Money Talks" which equips young adults with the knowledge and confidence to make positive financial choices.

Charlotte Hill, aged 19 from Leicester, studies construction management and property development at university. She is on course to become a qualified site surveyor and manager, with the skills to develop her own properties. She has already bought and project managed her own home!

I feel that now more than ever it is important for women to feel valued in this world. Being a woman of colour, I have used this desire to push me to achieve excellence in everything that I do. The dream for me is to constantly be the best version of myself. Moving to Great Britain as a young child provided me with endless opportunities. I often travel back to Kenya where most of my family live and seeing the devastation in the rural areas showed me that living in the UK our education, wellbeing and future are prioritised. The importance of education has motivated me to want a better education for young women, young mothers and victims of FGM and forced marriages. During my time off, I try to volunteer as much as I can to spend time in women and children centre in Africa. This incredible time helps learn about myself, from others and provides me with an opportunity to use my skills and qualities to support others. This has given me a different outlook on the importance of making a change within myself and use that to empower all types of women. I feel empowered everyday by the endless opportunities that I have as a woman part of such multicultural community. By winning the Miss Universe Great Britain crown I would stand stronger to support women to defeat the manifestation of female genital mutilation, spread the importance of self-love and female empowerment. My goal is for young girls, and women to see that in life hard work, believing in yourself and perseverance will give you the ultimate prize.

I believe its important in life to be kind, grateful and hardworking. From a young age I've always wanted to make others happy. At the age of 10 I was nominated for Young Neighbour of the Year Awards as I would regularly check on my elderly neighbour, Nora. Sending her notes to check she was okay, then led to me going to the shop for groceries and looking after her puppy. Nora nominated me into the awards where I made the final five and my first appearance in the local newspaper. Recently I have travelled to Zambia-Africa to volunteer at a school in Bissel. The trip was unforgettable and an eye opener when comparing it to the seemingly internet-based life I have at home. I learnt life is not about the material things we have but how we can help others both physically and emotionally. Spending time with the community I witnessed poverty and hunger but this did not alter how happy and welcoming the people were. The locals were always in high spirits and so proud and grateful for what they had. This experience taught me that no matter your situation; you create your own happiness. I’m grateful to be a finalist in Miss Universe Great Britain as it empowers women and embraces femininity. It allows me to pursue my dream of one day becoming Miss Universe Great Britain while having a good impact on many lives through the number of charities supported by A-Sisterhood.

I have always had a passion for the performing arts from a young age training in singing, acting and dancing since the age of five. This lead to me choosing dance theatre as my degree subject. My dream is to also work with various different charities in order to assist with achieving my goals, and try to make opportunities happen for people that have been less fortunate.

I come from a beautiful British territory located at the southern tip of Europe called Gibraltar. Growing up in such a small place with a population of only 30,000 and a perimeter of 2.6 square miles sparked my enthusiasm to visit the world and explore as many different cultures as possible. I have a passion for solo travel and adventure which has taken me backpacking across Asia and even motorbiking the whole of Vietnam alone. I believe that the best way to achieve personal development is putting yourself outside of your comfort zone. As a Miss Universe Great Britain finalist, I want to encourage women to overcome self- doubt and see beyond perceived limitations. I hope to do this through various fundraising challenges for A-Sisterhood which I cannot wait to begin.

I believe that the people hold the power and I want to give them an option that is not just eco-conscious, but vegan, affordable, fashionable and charitable.
