Sólveig Lilja Brinks Fróðadóttir
Miss Northern Iceland
Sólveig Lilja, 20, was born in Reykjavík but moved to Siglufjörður in 2010 and has lived there ever since. She is the youngest of three siblings and graduated with a matriculation exam in 2019 from an art program from Menntaskólinn á Tröllaskagi. She currently works as a shift manager for a market in her town. Solveig’s hobbies are watching football with the family, going for long walks and singing. She is a big animal lover and has always had animals all her life. She is excited about participating in Miss Universe Iceland and the life experiences that she will gain.

Sandra Dögg Winbush
Miss Land of Fire and Ice
Sandra Dögg is 23 years old and is the daughter of a marine father and a viking mother. She works for a major Icelandic airline in Passenger Service and currently volunteers at a cat shelter as well as at Rauði Krossinn. She has a lot of passion for animals, travel and nature. Sandra plans on visiting all the countries in the world and has visited 17 since she started traveling in 2018. Her other interests include dancing, photography and acting. She lives life to the fullest, loves learning, experiencing new things and her bags are always packed ready for the next adventure.

Alexandra, 22, lives in a small town named Stöðvarfjörður with a population of about 184 people! She is a makeup artist and is currently studying Sociology and Psychology in addition to working in a kindergarten. She likes to travel, spending time with her friends & family, makeup artistry and watching television. Alexandra has 4 siblings and is the second youngest. Her mother is from Iceland and her father is from Indonesia. Her life goals are to embrace who she is, help others in need, bring awareness to the importance of celebrating cultural diversity especially as an someone who has Asian ancestry. She would also like to encourage young children to embrace body positivity and remind them that having curves, scars and stretch marks are normal and beautiful.

Íris Freyja, 22, credits her passion for world cultures as she herself comes from a multicultural household. Her father’s family is from the Southern Spain region that includes Málaga & Andalucia. Her mother’s family is from Iceland. She has learned to embrace her diverse heritage and loves her family. Her biggest role model is her mother, who primarily raised her. She is thankful for her and admires her as the smartest, strongest and most beautiful woman she knows. Bojana is 22 years old and was born in Serbia. She has lived in Iceland for the majority of her life and she is extremely thankful for Iceland opening its arms to her family. She lives at home with her parents and siblings in Keflavík. Bojana is currently enrolled as a full-time student at Fjölbrautarskóli Suðurnesja. Upon graduation, she plans to study Business with a focus on Marketing. Her hobbies include being with her friends, traveling and exercising. Her long-term goals are to help others and witness more equality in the world as she would love all children, especially girls, to have an equal opportunity to receive an education.

Sunneva is a bubbly, confident and open-minded woman who enjoys helping others. Approachable, talkative and compassionate, a laugh is never far away with her. Since graduating from high school, she has travelled to over a dozen countries all over the world as she loves meeting new people and immersing herself in different cultures. Sunneva is halfway through completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Media Studies. She currently manages the social media for an empowerment workshop for women as well as works at a youth center for mentally challenged teens.

Elísa works full time as a flight attendant as well as a part time professional makeup artist. She was born to be a stage performer and has been dancing for 22 years & has also been a choreographer for 11 years. She loves to travel the world and has visited 20 countries. Elísa has a lot of experience competing in pageants, and even represented Iceland twice on international stages. Her advocacy is suicide prevention, and as the next Miss Universe Iceland, she would like to partner with an organization to bring awareness to this important issue.

Hulda is a currently a Ph.D. student in linguistics on a full scholarship. She has studied 7 languages and became the youngest female ever in Iceland to earn a Masters Degree. In 2018 she published her first book and has had many articles published. She works at the Department of Civil Protection for the Icelandic Police. She aims to become a speech-language pathologist, working with children and people suffering from brain injuries. Passionate about women's rights and equal opportunities for education, she has volunteered for several charities and is a joint owner of an international learning platform. She danced ballet for 12 years, loves acting and traveling. Hulda is an international model and held the title of Queen Beauty Iceland 2020.

Hekla is a graduate of Menntaskólinn á Akureyri, living in the Eastfjords, who fulfilled a girlhood dream
to become a nail technician and received her diploma last winter. She likes spending her time reading a
good classic book, listening to podcasts whilst sewing, crocheting or knitting, hanging out with friends,
or baking. She is a feminist through and through and will not stand the mistreatment of others whether
it be due to race, gender or anything else. She’s proud to be an environmentalist who tries her hardest
in doing her part for the planet and preserving it for generations to come.
