23. Rosie Minako
27, Sussex
I am a purpose-driven and service-oriented woman with a strong commitment to our British nation. Working full time as a runway and commercial model allows me much flexibility so I dedicate a lot of my time to community work, including being a charity spokesperson, press officer, foreign delegate, ambassador and regular volunteer for different organisations. As an east Asian British woman, I am incredibly passionate about serving as the voice for equality, diversity and education. As a strong advocate on women's rights, my platform is all about empowering women to break barriers and to step up as a leader. Since I was young, I have cultivated a number of hobbies including music, dance, art and horse-riding. I am grateful to have taken part in a variety of local, national and international flute competitions on stage over the years. Three years ago, I launched my eco-friendly couture brand. I designed bespoke evening dresses for women, with all profits donated to children’s charities and environmental conservation projects in the UK. Earlier this year, I published my first book to teach women about hair growth. I then launched my hair brand Rosie Minako Magic Hair, selling a line of vegan hair products, with part of the profits donated to a charity that supports female victims of sex trafficking.

24. Sacha Jones
26, Birmingham
My name is Sacha Jones, I’m 26 and a beautician from Birmingham. I’ve been in the industry more than eight years having started out as a make-up artist and then went on to win Celebrity Makeup Artist of The Year in 2018. In my spare time, I volunteer helping Birmingham’s homeless which led me to notice homeless shelters being male dominated with not many facilities for the women, including grooming when there was a barber for the men but not a hairdresser for women. I used my job and my passion to help our homeless crisis as well as my love for female empowerment to create The Women’s Workshop. The Women’s Workshop provides free beauty treatments to homeless women including haircuts, gel nails and facials to not only give the women a confidence boost, but to lend that listening ear and the opportunity to socialise in a female oriented environment. The workshop was also inspired by a homeless lady embarrassed to ask me for sanitary products in front of men at a homeless drop in where she had bled through her jeans, so we provide sanitary products and toiletries too. Aside from my job and The Women’s Workshop, I’m a crystal enthusiast and a Wiccan – I think of myself as very spiritual.

25. Stephanie Hill
26, Peak District
I’m Stephanie, a cancer research scientist currently undertaking my dream PhD with Cancer Research UK in partnership with the Manchester Cancer Research Centre and The Christie Hospital, where my research is focusing on finding new methods to treat cervical and bladder cancers. I‘ve spent the last year working in paediatric clinical trials as part of international COVID-19 and SARS-CoV-2 research, and it was a great privilege to contribute to these international collaborative efforts. In my spare time, I compete in equestrian sports, ballroom and Latin dancing, and I perform as a classical-crossover vocalist, receiving a nomination for a Classic Brit Award ‘The Sound of Classical Music’. As a result of the variety of my accolades, I was acknowledged as a Contemporary Polymath and Modern Renaissance Woman by The British Library, and I use this as a platform to encourage women to pursue education and their ambitions from an accessible, unconventional, and multi-faceted approach. I am a passionate advocate for women in STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), and I enjoy campaigning for gender equality in these often disproportionately represented fields. With my background in cancer research and my passion for women’s health, I work in association with The Eve Appeal, a charity focused on funding and advocating for female-specific cancer research.

26. Lily Young
22, Yorkshire
I’m 22-years-old from Hull, East Yorkshire - a recent graduate with a first-class honours degree in business management and marketing. I am currently studying a master’s degree in business management. On completion, I will be studying for a PhD to further my studies on the subject. A key factor in my interest of the subject is the significant inequalities that still exist within the corporate world, exemplified through the consistent lack of female representation in leadership roles. Just six per cent of the most influential CEOs are female across the UK and the US. My aspiration is to have a powerful role within the corporate world, with my academia contributing to achieving this goal. I want to become a power of influence and my vision of the future is empowerment and possibility. I strongly believe that if you can conceive it, you can achieve it and that we are our own creators. Nelson Mandela’s philosophy instils that we are powerful beyond measure, that it is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. My intention is to influence and continue as a philosophy of a good mindset, sharing the ethos that power lies within us.

27. Zakiyah Ahmed
22, London
Hi I’m Zakiyah and I live in central London. Although that’s where my home has been throughout my life, I’ve been very lucky to have had the privilege of exploring many different countries and different cultures thanks to my father’s love of travelling. I’m studying a law degree and outside of that my hobby is gym as it’s the best form of relaxation for me. During my life journey so far the most important lesson I have learnt from leaving my home town and meeting all different kinds of people and understanding other cultures is that life is to be lived, life is short, dreams are to be chased and memories should be made. This is why I’m writing this biography today because I am going after my dream, to encourage women to follow their dreams and find the confidence within themselves to give them the best life possible.
