This photo was published on 12th July, thirteen days before the final night. Marlies Behrens, 19, was chosen Miss Germany and she tapped a keg of beer to celebrate her victory. The blonde beauty, a hotel secretary, is now en route to compete in the Miss Universe 1958 contest at Long Beach, California.
