It was raining in Manhattan, but these Miss Universe 1958 participants managed to brighten the scenery before they left for the contest in Long Beach, California. In front are Miss Belgium, Liliane Taelemans (left); and Miss Sweden, Birgitta Gardman (right). Under the umbrella, left to right are: Miss Poland, Alicja Bobrowska; Miss Norway, Greta Andersen; and Miss Cuba, Arminia Pérez.
