Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2024

US Virgin Islands is officially back at Miss Universe!

This territory started participating at Miss Universe in 1961. They first competed under the name of Virgin Islands until 1978 and in 1979 started participating as US Virgin Islands. They competed a total of 41 times, placing only once, in 1971 when Cherrie Raphaelia Creque made the top 12. Their last participation was in 2019.

Miss Strawberry Hill, Camille Paul. @quiet_cam

Camille Marise Paul, a native of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, is a dedicated advocate for health and wellness. Armed with a background in clinical research and master’s degrees in public health and clinical medical science, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as a physician assistant, serving her community since 2017, including a recent stint in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. In addition, Camille proudly serves in the VI Army National Guard as the physician assistant of the Medical Readiness Detachment, embodying her commitment to both healthcare and service.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Camille is a competitive athlete, representing the USVI in international bowling competitions. She generously shares her expertise as a coach for the St. Croix Junior Bowlers, nurturing the next generation of athletes.

Committed to community wellness, Camille strives to promote health literacy as a means of empowerment and advocacy. Her ultimate goal is to dismantle barriers to healthcare by fostering education and providing individuals with the tools to advocate for their own well-being.

Miss Agnes Fancy, Meagan Bryan. @island_sweetheart15

Meagan Bryan is a born and raised Virgin Islander; her family dates as far back as 1785 on the island of St.Thomas. Her background is a flavorful mix of French Caribbean from St.Barths on her father’s side and her mother’s side is the unlikely mix of Irish, and Silican.

Meagan is passionate about her home and her people and is a Mother that would like to make a positive difference by empowering mothers to step forward for their daughters, territory, and their community; representing and making strides both locally and abroad is a continued goal. On her journey towards the crown she is using her voice and platform to advocate for Mental Health Awareness, a platform that deserves a voice especially in the resilient Virgin Islands community.

Meagan Bryan is also involved in the modeling world or from shows likes Food Beat Island Adventure [CBS Puerto Rico], Road Ready (which can be found on Tempo, Island TV, Flow 1, and The Coda Network) or her own “Moments With Island Sweetheart Youtube Channel”, and is currently an ambassador for the carnival troupe “Prodigy Mas”!
You can also find Meagan through the media and her travels, where she represent the Virgin Islands as an ambassador for numerous Caribbean carnivals around the globe and is currently partnered as a spokesperson and sales ambassador with for Carnival Kicks, The Bacchanal Bag, Carnival Capsule, Stay Golden Cosmetics, and Brownitude.

Miss St. Joseph & Rosendahl, Stephany Andujar. @sandujar___

Miss Stephany Andujar, is a 28-year old, St. Thomas native born in Charlotte Amalie, with her official title being Miss St. Joseph and Rosendahl. Beauty has always been a part of her life’s purpose; starting the modeling career from the age of 16, reaching her ultimate goal of being a Professional Model in New York City. Stephany has had the privilege of working in New York Fashion Week for four seasons, as well as working with international corporations, such as, Covergirl, Lancôme, Essence Magazine and The New York Times.

She is also a Pro Makeup Artist, Licensed Esthetician and Entrepreneur. What makes her proud to be a Virgin Islander is the profound culture that she comes from. The lively and friendly spirit that they have as a people is something she’s proud to carry no matter where go in this world.

Miss Christiansted, Nia Civil @nialeona_ .

Nia Leona Civil is a passionate lover of life that ascribes to the motto “your only choice in this life is to be great”. She is a proud Crucian with a Virgin Islands lineage that dates back to the late 1700s on both St Croix and St Thomas.
As a multi-certified general and special education teacher and entrepreneur that believes education is empowerment, Nia began her educational consulting company GGLOW Education in 2019. She has helped over 700 teachers in receiving their teaching licenses and degrees, thus providing over 22,000 children with high quality teachers. Simultaneously, she is currently completing her Master’s Degree in the field of curriculum design and educational-based engineering at Pepperdine University.

No stranger to adventure, she cherishes her modelling work and travel and nature-based experiences as they have helped her to compassionately connect to those around her to facilitate change. She enjoys utilizing her recently re-launched podcast The Lion Lounge to help young women that are experiencing major life shifts with their self esteem and mental wellness. In her free time, you can find Nia trying new recipes with loved ones, painting, writing poetry, or surely dancing at the beach. She is honored to be Miss Universe Christiansted, and has made it her mission to inspire and uplift others to conquer their own doubts while still having fun along the way.

Miss Charlotte Amalie, Aminisha Bailey. @te_amm0

Aminisha Bailey is a proud 24-year-old dancer from the beautiful Virgin Islands. Aminisha was born on the vibrant island of St. Thomas, and her upbringing was enriched by the lively energies of both St. Croix and St. Thomas, which have deeply influenced her.

Aminisha is deeply passionate about inspiring others through the art of movement, leading her into the world of professional dance. She is dedicated to nurturing young talent and showcases this dedication through her role as a volunteer with the IEKHS dance team and as a dedicated dance coach for the UVI dance team. In addition to coaching, Aminisha also shares her love for dance and her vibrant US Virgin Islands culture as a tourism ambassador. Her grace and talent have graced the runways and magazine pages, showcasing the beauty of her island home.

“Healing Minds, Transforming Futures” is more than just a platform for Aminisha; it is a deeply held belief that drives her actions and aspirations. She endeavors to create a space where individuals can flourish and thrive, shaping brighter futures for themselves and their community.
