Miss Bahamas World 2009 - Joanna Brown

What a year it has been for Joanna Brown Miss Bahamas World 2009. Crowned last year in a spectacular pageant at just 17 years old, Joanna began a vigorous training regiment, and was able to capture the admiration of the world. Many fans adored this beauty from the islands so much so that she was considered a favourite to place in the Miss World pageant. Joanna did not place, unfortunately, but the impression that she left on the hearts and minds of those who came in contact with her was more than just elegance but serenity, class and the essence of a true lady.

This regal beauty showed that at a young age with hard work and determination she was able to continue to raise the standard of beauty and the image of Bahamian beauty queens in the eyes of the world. Since the Miss World pageant, Joanna has received favourable recognition and awards for having the best fashion sense, a stunning face and also she is considered one of the 10 Sexiest Women Alive.
