im wondering if the girls still wear their NC in Opening ..or just wearing a samba costume. what the use of their fabulous NC? what a waste and effort for the girls Sad

I'm confused.... in 2005 there WAS a national costume presentation held before the contest. I have all the photos still on my computer, so it's true.... Laughing

However, in 2003, 2004 and 2005 the opening number was not made in national costumes and they just showed a little part of the presentation show that WAS held.....

So, if there will be a segment in the telecast, then how are they gonna do it, if they don't HELD the national costume presentation beofre the contest?

The way I understood Alyssa Campanella's tweet was that this year they wont have the NC presentation before the show like all the other years, and we all have to wait for the telecast to see the parade of nations. So they will have the parade of nations in NC's where they shout their name, age and countries

I hope they don't have a live opening presentation. I like it better when they introduce themselves in their national costumes. I really hope the format is not similiar to Miss USA. I did not care for the excessive commentary and the online voting going on throughout the show. It was all too distracting from the girls.
