Miss World Trivia after the results!

*Venezuela won its 6th Miss World Crown, the last time they won is in 1995. Venezuela now have 6 Miss World, 6 Miss Universe & 6 Miss International Crown!

*In 1990 USA won and she crowned her successor in 1991 which is from Venezuela. And it happened again, last year (2010) USA won, and she crowned her successor which is from Venezuela this year (2011). look 1990&1991, 2010&2011 the last digits are 0 & 1. It happened also in Miss Universe, in 1980 USA won and in 1981 Venezuela won again 0 & 1 .

*New Miss World format this year the top 30 scoreboard was shown, and there they select the top 15 who got the highest total score. The winner of the fast track events was announced during the final night and no one from the fast track winner place in the top 3!!!

*South Africa now on its 4 consecutive years in the semis. The longest as of now.

*England & Indonesia enter the semis for the first time (Top 15), If we consider the top 30 then St. Barthemely,Guatemala,Serbia,&Hungary enter the semis for the first time.

*The girls are not allowed to post pictures in any networking sites! during pageant time, they might get disqualified.

*Philippines last placement in the semis was in 2005 (Carlene Aguilar), And my country almost won again this year like what happened during the 1973 edition courtesy of Miss Evangeline Pascual. In the 61 Edition of Miss World Philippines had now a total of 13 spot in the semis, two 1st Princes, one 2nd princes (Ruffa Gutierez), 3 4th runner up, 1 top 10,and 6 semis.

*Kyrgyzstan and St. Barthelemy competed for the first time

*Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Scotland , South Africa, & Italy are also in the top 25 semis last year. If we consider the top 30 Paraguay,Botswana,Russia & Thailand are also in the semis last year.

*Longest drought Zimbabwe last placement in the semis was in 1994

*South Africa Competed in the 4 grand slam pageant. Miss Earth 2007 (Top 16), Miss International 2009/Miss Universe 2011 (unplaced) ,and Miss World 2011 (Top 7)

*Europe dominated the semis!

have you noticed this picture which i copied during the livestream? lol miss serbia's hair is like a wig whom put in miss puerto rico's hair..i thought its really a wig but i find out that serbia was behind her... Laughing
