The Ethics of Beauty!!

Being a beauty queen means a lot of responsibilities , many young girls around the world look up to beauty queens as their role models!
When a beauty queen fails to follow the rules, she might lose her crown but what if she is a formal queen, should she alwas be cousious of her behaviour?

Last night as I was playing with the remote control during the half time of last night's football match and I accidently saw Angela Martini on an old episode of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York"!
She was in a club in NY and she was... how can I say it politely... Embarassed

anyway she was hitting on Kourtney and Kourtney's boyfriend and father of her son!
I was sooooo shocked, I know that it's propably staged but I felt so bad for that girl who was in the top girl in MU just a couple of years ago!!
I still think about it and I really feel awful , perhaps she was unemployed and she needed any kind of work... I don't know!
Perhaps I am too conservative... or propably I am getting old! affraid

What do you think?

I agree with you on your point, and I want to add that not only beauty queens but everyone who is somehow in the public eye carries a lot of responsibility because of course also kids are watching them. However, the main responsibility for children have their parents. If they manage to teach them good manners, communicate values and to help them become strong personalities, those mentioned bad examples shouldn't have a too negative influence on the young generation...

I am just also sad for Angela and every young girl like her who does not succeed all she wants and she does that to herself, she could return to Albania and be a local celebrity there, or get a regular job and live a normal life! Rolling Eyes

So what you said is another important point: to show the other side of the coin. It's not all glitter and glamour, you can also fail and than you have to cope with it somehow. I'm sorry if it is like you said: jobless without money. It's sad but true, the entertainment industry lives from those characters. But as long as people watch certain shows, they will always exist. And someone has to play the bad part... Sorry that beauty Angela was the one this time

I am very conservative too, but if Angela Martini decided to this kind of spectacle in my opinion she has very low self esteem or she is doing it to get ATTENTION? Also I do not agree that this show is telecasted during daytime. Evil or Very Mad

Wow.....looks like she forgot her underwear.....or went out without them on purpose.

I do not like any of the Kardashians shows. They are all over the place here in the USA. Oprah interviewed them all this weekend asking about how events in their lives are merely publicity stunts. I would imagine that the situation with Miss Albania was staged, but who knows. So sad to see her in such a desperate for attention situation.

How can someone forget his/her underwear! You can forget your keys, your cell, I ussualy forget my earings... but underwear!

I am also very conservative. No matter how beautiful she is, I do not like her for her behavior, do not wonder, why not give the crown of Miss Universe, even a place in the top five. Look what the girls were in the top five Miss Universe Philippines, Australia, Mexico, Ukraine and Jamaica, all the girls are well mannered, educated, decent unlike the United States, Albania and Ireland .......
