According to Global Beauties facebook page, the pageant will once again be 3 hours long. Steve Harvey will host and model Ashley Graham will be a backstage correspondent.
3 hours is way too long and I don't like Steve Harvey. Hope he doesn't screw up announcing the winner this time.

If I were one of the ladies remaining and my name was called as the new Miss Universe by Steve Harvey I will not celebrate yet and will ask Mr Harvey if its confirmed

Have fun Bonner! I have been to Miss USA in 2009, but never Miss Universe. I do have to say, the telecast was better than being in the audience. When we got there, the auditorium was not even full. Empty seats everywhere. About 10 minutes before the show went live they announced "Seat fillers, please take your seats.". All these people came out of nowhere. Even sitting in really good seats near the front! I could see the top of Donald Trump's head and Dayana Mendoza was sitting with him, so that was cool. Hope you have a great time and meet lots of the ladies! Throw a rotten tomato at Steve Harvey, hahaha!

Thank you. Miss Universe is the most popular pageant in the Philippines in general (pageant fans or not). I only want to experience and feel the spirit of being there, watching Miss Universe pageant live is always a dream of mine . For sure the tickets will be sold out no matter how expensive it is. And for sure the crowd will goes wild if most audience are Filipino pageant fans. Yes we will cheer for the Philippines but every time we are the host country we really don't think of winning. We accept and appreciate whoever will win.

Miss Universe 2016 Schedule of Activities Released by Tourism Dept.

The 65th Miss Universe contestants start arriving on January 12 and 13. After the arrival, the official start of preliminary activities is on January 15 with a photo shoot in historic Vigan, Ilocos Sur (home province of Chavit Singson, the principal financier of Miss Universe 2016).

Other activities are scheduled in Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Baguio, Albay and Batangas, among others. Unlike previous editions of Miss Universe, the contestants will be divided into smaller groups so that more areas will be visited with the limited time that they have.

Probably the only time that all 86 Miss Universe 2016 contestants will be together will be during the competition segments of the pageant – the swimwear, national costume, the preliminary/pre-pageant night, and during the finals at Mall of Asia Arena on January 30.

Posted below is the Miss Universe 2016 schedule as released by the DOT. Some activities and venues are still missing as these have not been finalized, according to the Philippine Star.

January 15 – Photoshoot in Vigan, Ilocos Sur

January 16 – Governor’s Ball at SMX convention

January 17 – Miss Universe Swimwear competition at Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark, Cebu

January 21 – Miss Universe candidates will attend Fashion show at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City

January 22 – Women empowerment night at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City

January 23 – Miss Universe candidates’ courtesy call on President Rodrigo Duterte at the Malacañang Palace

January 24 – Miss Universe national costume competition at the World Trade Center

To be announced – Miss Universe pre-pageant evening gown contest, Manila

January 30 – 65th Miss Universe Coronation at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City
