Road to Miss Finland 2010

Yes, we love our TOP3 ! I think Milka is still doing her happy dance somewhere. Susanna is still my sentimental favourite, but Viivi is so much more equipped to deal with what's coming with the reign. I think she'll be a funny and exciting Miss Finland. It's quite possible she'll be the shortest delegate at Miss Universe, but I think she can actually use that to her advantage telling, as she did at Miss Finland, that she compensate the missing height with her attitude.

I got to know Anne better this weekend, and what I saw was impressive. By the time I saw her rehearsing on stage I too was absolutely certain she'd be a runner-up. We had an experienced jury this year - many returnees -, and I knew Anne would have the qualities they look after in a delegate.

And Susanna... Well, you just should have seen how she won over the crowd. Viivi and other delegates had their "fans" cheering for them, but Susanna was so genuine, fresh - someone told me she didn't own even a mascara before entering the contest - and breathtakingly beautiful everybody eventually cheered for her. I have very high hopes for International Beauty this year, I've understand they have quite a unique judging system, and Susanna has potential to be everybody's favourite there.

I'm so happy. Too bad there cant be three runner up's because Viktorija should have gotten a tiara of her own.
But I'm very VERY happy with the results!!!!!!

Miss Press: Susanna Turja

Nope, only "Miss Press" (Susanna), runners-up and the winner were announced... A very traditional Miss Finland transimission, with cocktail dress, casual wear and evening gown rounds. Swimming suit round was prerecorded. Interviews were divided between the rounds, 3 or 4 girls were interviewed on each round. Anne and Essi sang as a part of the interview, Anne gave longer responses to the questions of the artist interviewing her, Essi basicly just said "yes" and "no".

Congratulations Finland!
Although I think Riina would be the best winner I´m celebrating with you all!
Here in Sweden FTV just finished airing the show around 11 in the evening...
I liked the programme, it was as an ordinary Miss Suomi...
A big surprise for me where Heidi whom I liked to be in top 4 along with Viktorija and Viivi S-and Riina as winner!
It didn´t happen this year-we will see when it´s time for Miss Universe...

Viivi P is short-and looked kind of nervous I think...

Yes, she probably was. As she said afterwards she has been looking forward to this since she was 8-years-old.
