I need ask to the finich fans: Why the contestants looks very outdateds in its looks.. I mean that they remebering as Beauty Queens from the 90s and i can't not see any of them doing something on any International pageant (Exept Miss International or Miss Europe) with an advice as obsolete and outmoded. For be honest.

Only i like this girl so far...

OONA KARE, girl number 10 has stepped out of the pageant.
This is because she has a criminal record in the past. She was convicted of shop lifting

She will be replaced by Minna Nikkilä

I think if you look at the fashionphotos from page one, you can see that they are not outdated. Some days they just have different hairstyles

Only i like this girl so far...

i think its a matter of photographers and stylists its not the girls.if you go on page 1 you ll see the difference between different photographers already.i think the latest shots are in the right way.

Sabi, can you name the girls and in wich photos? I mean, do you think all of them look outdated or just some and in wich pictures.

For example, the last photos that I took and posted are backstage photos from filming insert to the final telecast. So there might be pictures where the girls are half ready. They were doing makeup and hair all day. So in some pictures they are not fully done.

But on Sunday when the girls came to semifinals, they had hair and makeup done themselves. I'll give you an example

And this is how they looked the next day after we gave them some suggestions on how they should ask the professional hair/makeupstylist to style them. IMO a BIG improvment in hair, or don't you think? Or do you still find them outdated?

Yes, her height is a big problem, I'm not denying that. And she was really nervous sunday at the semifinals and she was sure that the judges won't pick her to be a finalist because of her height. And then when se was called to be a finalist, she burst out to tears of joy and relief.

We haven't had a Miss Finland who is under 170 in years. We have to go back to the 60's or 50's
But in everything else she is just so miles ahead the others, that that is the reason why I want her to win. She is SO READY to be Miss Finland. She is determined, she has the confidence, the look. She is the whole package.

So, though I know she probably would not have any chance at Miss Universe, I still want that we send a girl who is ready and who will make us proud no matter what

Del, last year Miss Finland changed so that the public will choose the winner, and judges the runnerup's, This year it will be the same.
And the public WILL NOT vote for Ghia. She is in the bottom on all of the poles. Also I doubt that finns will vote for a russian girl. But I do like Viktorija a lot myself and I think she might have a chance with the judges.

So far, the girls leading in different websites and the two major magazines are Viivi P, Susanna and Essi! I really believe that one of them will win.
Also Viivi P has become a media favourite.

In the majority of the pics all the girls looks plains (Exepct Rina as well)... I appreciate your organization the arranged to try to keep your girls, but you can not afford to let them see it that way so the public, by the way who chooses those photos ...

The swimsuit pics against the blue screen are courtesy of a weekly magazine called SEISKA

Everything else are "backstage" photos. Miscallinious pictures.
Pictures of different occasions. So they are just that, nothing official.

Well, you are kinda judging there my work, because those are pictures that I took at the press presentation.
But that's okey. I you hate it, you hate it. But like I said, I AM NOT a professional photographer and that was not a photosession, I just took
what I could in the middle of dozens of other ones who were taking picture of them

It's a matter of taste. I can't say that I like those bikinis myself either, but the most important thing is the girls themselves. That is just
how the magazine wanted the photos, simple photos, where you can see their bodies. Those swimsuit pics have nothing do with MF organisation since they are photos of a weekly tabloid magazine called Seiska.

I'm sorry Sabi, but Finland is not Venezuela and Miss Finland organisation does not have the money to do everything like for example latin countries do.
