Road to Miss Finland 2010

The search for Miss Finland 2010 kicked of few months ago with Miss Finland tour that held qualification shows around Finland, each having a winner selected. Also few wild cards were chosen. The winners have all gotten their place at the semifinals in wich the girls will be narrowed down to 10 finalist. But also the public has a chance to help their favourite girls to enter the semifinals.

22 girls are introduced at the Miss Finland Tour website. But at the moment pictures are up of only 13 girls.

Hopefully the rest will have their pictures up soon, because the sms vote has already started. Go figure

Semifinal will be held January 4th. There 10 finalist will be chosen. Then these 10 finalist are introduced to the public and they will go on tour and have different engagments.

The Miss Finland 2010 final will be held January 17th in Helsinki!

The winner, as always, will represent Finland at Miss Universe

2ru in Miss International

Oh, and I forgot to mention that these are not the only girls who have a chance for a semifinal spot.
For those girls who have not been able to take part to the tour, there is a picturequalification. So they can send their pictures to the organisation and some of them will be invited to the semifinals in january also!

But still girls number 14, 19, 20 are missing, don't know why?

The guy who took these pictures has been fired from his job, because he was accused of molesting a 13 year girl some years ago.
He was convicted only now and naturally he was fired so he won't be taking any more pictures of 2010 delegates.

It's pageant time again in Finland
Semifinals tomorrow and the top10 finalists will be introduced to the media on monday.

I'm off to Helsinki tomorrow where semifinals will take place. I'll be back tuesday night so expect to see a lot of photos on Wednesday

I totally agree with Milka, this is a strong year. Some candidates are readier than the others - take Viivi P., who is actually coaching new models in an agency herself -, but there's a lot of potential. I have a strong favourite to win, but I feel that there are 5-6 girls who should get a chance to compete internationally.

I am starting to be absolutely wow with No. 3 Essi. She is gorgeous! Viivi P. is following her, bad is she has only 167 cm...

Yes, height is a problem with Viivi P. But she is such an amazing personality, that she is definetly MY PICK as the winner. She has everything else going for her, she has determination, she has the social skills to do well, she is great on stage. Bubbly and has a great spirit!

Essi is more classy. She has a great figure and a great look, but unfortunately she lacks in social skills. I think she would have trouble making friends in Miss Universe and would not charm the judges. She tends to be to herself, doesnt talk much and she would be just lost alone in Miss Universe. So I am a bit scared that finnish public will vote for her to be the winner. They don't know these things and just look for the face and men will go crazy over Essi since she has great boobs So it's a trouble maker that her social skills are so bad

At this point Viivi P, Susanna and Essi seem to be the favourites of the public, so well see. Susanna in STUNNING in person. Always smiling and really stands out. I like her too!
