in the news today:
Geir and Daniel Hamnes (father and son) have decided to close down Froken Norge as they cannot find any tv channels willing to broadcast the pageant. This means it is hard to find any sponsors.

Unless a new licence holder shows interest really soon, there will be no girls from Norway in Miss Universe and Miss World this year. Maybe not ever.....
